Stock Monitor only switches on when a platform tells Cassian both the quantity and whether inventory tracking is enabled. That prevents alerts on products intentionally sold without stock tracking.

WooCommerce

Supported

Supported via the existing REST catalog connection. Cassian reads the manage-stock flag and current quantity for products and variations.

BigCommerce

Supported

Supported via the existing Catalog API connection. Product- and variant-level inventory tracking are both handled.

Not currently supported

Shopify: the inventory-tracking flag requires the broader read_inventory scope, which Cassian does not currently request.

Wix: the current connector does not provide the tracking flag needed to distinguish managed stock safely.

Stock Monitor watches tracked variants during Cassian's daily catalog check. It opens one incident when a variant hits zero and projects low-stock risk from recent sales velocity, so you can act before the shelf is empty.

How Cassian™ detects this

Cassian Sentinel™ reads inventory levels from your platform’s admin API during the daily pricing check. A tracked variant at zero quantity opens a stock-out incident. Low-stock alerts project days-to-stockout from a 14-day sales velocity that resets at the last restock, and fire when the projection crosses your sensitivity preset’s threshold. One alert per stock-out episode — no repeats while a variant stays out.
