Understanding Your Dashboard

A tour of the main Cassian dashboard — what each section shows and how to navigate.

Understanding Your Dashboard

The main Cassian™ dashboard is the first thing you see after signing in. It's designed around a single principle: status before issues, confidence before action. Here's what everything means.

The Cassian Score™ ring

The large circular graphic at the top of the dashboard is your Cassian Score™ — a number from 0 to 100 that represents your store's overall health.

The ring is colour-coded:

ScoreColourWhat it means
80–100GreenYour store is in great shape.
60–79AmberPerforming well. A few things to watch.
Below 60RedNeeds attention. Here's what matters most.

Below the score, you'll see the change since your last scan — a positive or negative delta showing whether your score improved, declined, or held steady. Small fluctuations (1–2 points) between scans are normal. Larger moves mean something changed.

The ring animates when a new scan completes — you'll see it update in real time without needing to refresh the page.

Feature cards

Below the score ring, six cards summarise the status of Cassian's monitoring features. Each card gives you a quick read on one system — click any card to go to the full detail page.

Order Pulse — shows your current order monitoring status. If everything is normal, you'll see a green indicator and your recent order trend. If an anomaly has been detected (a sudden drop, a zero-order period), you'll see an amber or red alert with a brief description. Click to open the full Order Pulse view.

PageSpeed — shows your current Google Lighthouse performance scores for mobile and desktop. The card displays your top-line performance score and flags if it's dropped since your last check. Scores are updated daily. Click to see the full 30-day trend and all four Lighthouse categories.

Link Checker — shows how many broken links were found in your most recent link check. Green means zero broken links. Amber or red means there's work to do. The card also shows the date of the last check. Click to see the full list of broken, redirected, and healthy links.

Uptime (Cassian Sentinel™) — shows your store's current status (Up / Down / Degraded), your 24-hour uptime percentage, and average response time. Cassian Sentinel™ checks your store every 5 minutes (every minute on Prime). Click to see full uptime history, SSL certificate status, and domain expiry details.

Security (Cassian Shield™) — shows the number of open security findings from your most recent Cassian Shield™ security scan. A finding is a potential vulnerability or misconfiguration Cassian has flagged for review. Click to see the full list of findings, sorted by severity.

Sitemap — shows the total number of URLs Cassian has indexed for your store, and when the sitemap was last checked. This gives you a quick sense of your store's crawled footprint. Click to see the full URL inventory.

Feature cards only appear for features that are enabled on your account. If a card is greyed out or showing an upgrade prompt, that feature requires a higher plan. Go to Settings → Billing to upgrade.

Recent scans

Below the feature cards, you'll see your most recent scan results — typically the last three to five scans. Each entry shows:

  • Scan number (#1, #2, #3...) — stable identifiers for each scan
  • Date and time the scan ran
  • Cassian Score for that scan
  • Issue count — how many findings were identified

Click any scan entry to open the full scan detail view, where you can see every finding broken down by category.

To see your complete scan history, click Scans in the sidebar.

The left sidebar is your primary navigation. Here's every item and what it contains:

Dashboard — the overview page you're reading about now. Always your starting point.

Sites — manage all your stores. Add new stores, view store details, change per-site settings, and (on Agency plans) set per-site monitoring tiers. If you have multiple stores, the site selector appears here to switch between them.

Scans — your complete scan history, numbered sequentially. Click any scan for full results including every finding, the score breakdown by category, and a comparison against the previous scan.

Feeds — manage your AI product feeds. View the status of your OpenAI JSONL feed, Google Shopping XML feed, and UCP manifest. Copy public feed URLs, regenerate feeds manually, and configure feed settings. Requires Analyst plan or above and a connected Shopify store.

Uptime — the full Cassian Sentinel™ uptime dashboard. Status, 24-hour uptime percentage, average response time, SSL certificate expiry, domain expiry, and a table of recent uptime checks. Requires Protector plan or above.

Security — the Cassian Shield™ security findings page. A list of all open security findings, each with a severity rating, description, and recommended action. Requires Analyst plan or above.

Links — the full link checker results. Every link Cassian checked, filterable by status (broken, redirect, blocked, working). Includes an explanation of why some links are marked "blocked" rather than broken. Requires Analyst plan or above.

Issues — every finding from every scan across all your stores, in one place. Filterable by severity (critical / high / medium / low), category (technical / content / translation / platform / LLM), and status (open / resolved / dismissed). You can dismiss individual issues directly from here or from scan detail pages. This is the master list of everything Cassian has found.

Note: what you see on the Issues page depends on your issue detail level setting (Essentials, Balanced, or Everything). If you're on Essentials, only Critical and High severity issues are shown. A banner at the top lets you know if additional findings exist at lower severity levels. Change this in Sites → [your store] → Settings.

Settings — your account hub. Subpages cover:

BillingCurrent plan, add/remove sites, upgrade or downgrade, invoices, payment method
NotificationsEmail, Telegram, and webhook channels. Configure which events notify which channels.

User section

At the very bottom of the sidebar, you'll find your name and email address. Click it to access a small menu with a Sign out option.

Switching between stores

If you have more than one store added to your account, a site selector appears near the top of the sidebar (or in the dashboard header on some layouts). Click it to switch the entire dashboard view to a different store. Everything — the score ring, feature cards, recent scans, sidebar links — updates to reflect the selected store.

Real-time updates

The dashboard subscribes to live updates. When a scan completes, when an uptime check comes in, or when an Order Pulse alert is triggered, the dashboard updates automatically without a page refresh. You'll see scores animate, status indicators change, and new entries appear in the recent scans list.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I see all my issues in one place?

Click Issues in the sidebar. This shows every finding across all your scans, filterable by severity, category, and status. It's the most complete view of everything Cassian has identified across your store.

How do I switch between my stores?

Use the site selector at the top of the sidebar. It appears when you have two or more stores added to your account. Click it to see a dropdown of all your stores and select the one you want to view.

Where is billing?

Go to Settings → Billing. From there you can see your current plan, add or remove sites, upgrade or downgrade your plan, update your payment method, and download invoices.

Where do I set up notifications?

Go to Settings → Notifications. From there you can add email addresses, connect a Telegram account, or configure a webhook URL for Slack, Discord, or any other webhook-capable service. You can also configure which types of events trigger which channels.

My dashboard shows a score but no feature cards — why?

Feature cards only appear for features that are active on your plan. If you're on the free Inspector plan, some features require an upgrade. Cards for features that aren't enabled on your plan are either hidden or shown with an upgrade prompt. Visit Settings → Billing to see what's included in each plan.

The score ring is grey / showing a dash — what does that mean?

This means Cassian hasn't completed a scan for this store yet, or the store was just added. If you've clicked "Scan now" and a few minutes have passed, try refreshing the page. If you're still not seeing results, check the Scans page to see if a scan is in progress or if there was an error.
